Darci Reimund
Chief Creative Officer and General Contractor
Darci is passionate about well-designed and highly-functional spaces that tell a story through layered, stylistic themes and instantly feel “right.” With a keen understanding of design trends and modern lifestyles, she creates a timeless, yet edgy space while overseeing the whole process. Her invaluably diverse skill set includes an innovative creative vision, a deeply thoughtful approach, and admirable construction expertise.
Darci’s interest in designing and building spaces started when she worked for her family’s design and build business as a teen. Her family home was a design-forward blend of antiques, eclectic art, and custom furnishings. She has since cultivated her signature style through extensive international travel, custom furniture design, and by dealing in antiques.
Darci holds hard-earned contractors licenses in both California and Idaho. She was also awarded a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California (USC), a Master of Science in Engineering from University of Colorado Boulder (CU), and an Interior Design Certificate from Cañada College.
For nearly two decades, she fostered her ability to project manage, leverage technology processes, and continuously innovate to solve complicated problems at iconic companies like Apple, Google and Intuit.

Wendy E. Santiago
Landscape Architect
It is through researching and understanding a client’s design aesthetic, their environment, and how they will engage with their landscapes that Wendy has produced gorgeous and highly-functional landscapes since 1987. She carries aesthetic themes from the interiors into the landscape, considers plant preferences, creates outdoor entertainment spaces, and weaves memories of a client’s childhood garden into a plan. Wendy is well-equipped to familiarize herself with local building department codes and guidelines for designing, planning, and zoning; irrigation requirements; thoughtful consideration of native and drought tolerant planting; and, innovative landscape materials and use of technology. Wendy excels at designing landscapes from scratch as well as adapting designs as need change.
Wendy holds an industry-coveted Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University. By taking classes and attending seminars regularly, she stays on top of changes and new developments in the industry. She is a certified UC Master Gardener and an active Washington State University (WSU) Certified Master Gardener.
Lee Engelmeier, P.E.
Structural Engineer
Lee’s childhood fascination with buildings turned into exactly the fulfilling career that he had dreamed of. After more than 25 years in the field, he welcomes new technology contributions to the field, but sees his top notch hand drafting skills as a key final step in ensuring the accuracy of a project.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly).
As a part of the creative team at DRD, Lee produces clear, detailed, defensible drawings that subcontractors can bid accurately, agencies can review and approve quickly, and reduce potential for change orders. His ability to creatively engineer unique architectural requirements sets him apart from other engineers, and is invaluable to the DRD team and our clients.
